The month of Tishrei has always been a special month based on the fall feasts which Adonai has put into place. However, with this year, we are upon the one-year anniversary of the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023 (which occurred on the day of Simchat Torah, the 22nd of Tishrei). With this somber reflection, I believe that it is important to consider the moral contrast of our fall feasts with these heinous acts approximately one year ago. This is the third article in a series about the moral reasoning for supporting Israel.
