Romans 11:1 I say then, God has not rejected His people, has He? May it never be! For I too am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
Let’s remember, Paul didn’t divide his letters into chapter and verse, he just wrote letters. The divisions came along later. Here (at the beginning of what is now chapter 11) he is continuing the thought we finished with last time (from the last verse of chapter 10). Romans 10:21 But about Israel He says, “All day long I stretched forth My hands to a disobedient and contrary people.”
Paul wants to clear this up … God has reached out to a disobedient people. Does that mean because they rejected Him that He will reject them? … Read on here
