Romans 9:25-26 as He says also in Hosea, “I will call those who were not My people, ‘My people,’ and her who was not loved, ‘Beloved.’ And it shall be that in the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not My people,’ there they shall be called sons of the living God.”

Paul is paraphrasing a section from Hosea, chapters 2 & 3. It is a call to faithfulness. In Hosea’s day, Israel had been “prostituting” herself by serving other gods. The change speaks of a great transformation, from not being loved to being loved as “sons of the living God.”

There is a great difference from being rejected to being accepted. We cannot earn, nor do we deserve God’s acceptance. It is by His divine gift of grace that we are accepted by Him. It is an offer we can’t refuse. Read on here
