I was recently in Jerusalem and my friend Joshua told me of how he was scolded while there by an old Jewish man. He was being challenged for using the word, “Jerusalem.”
As the conversation went:
“Yehoshua, why Jerusalem?”
“What do you mean?” replied my friend.
“You are a believer, are you not?!” stated the old man.
“Yes, but I still don’t understand you.”
“It is not Yerushalay’im!”
