Shomair Yisrael Announcements

BROTHER YUN

Brother Yun (https://backtojerusalem.com/) will be ministering at Shomair Yisrael on Saturday, March 23rd. We start at 10:30am at 3811 Boyd's Bridge Pike. While there will be 300 seats, still, we recommend you come early.

Brother Yun founded one of the house church movements in China that today numbers millions of followers of Yeshua. He also founded Back To Jerusalem Ministries, whose purpose is to evangelize the Silk Road. And the Silk Road ends in Jerusalem. In Hebrew we say, "Kol Yisrael L'Va'sha" meaning "all Israel will be saved," Romans 11:26.

PASSOVER COMMUNITY SEDER

Our Passover Community Seder is open to the public and visitors are encouraged to attend. Shomair Yisrael Messianic Synagogue is hosting a community Seder on the first night of Passover, Friday, April 19th. We start at 6pm. Advance registration for this catered event is required. To register, go to our website.

The Seder is a worship service with a meal in it. The cost is 5 per person which includes the catered dinner. Rabbi Michael Weiner will be officiating and explaining the 14 steps of every kosher Seder (the word Seder means "order" and these 14 steps are ordered to take us through the deliverance experience). And Messiah Yeshua, Who is the reality of all things, is the reality of each of the steps in the order of the Seder.

Paul writes to the Corinthians (non-Jewish followers of the way of Yeshua) 1 Corinthians 5:8 "Therefore let us celebrate the feast not with old leaven (chametz) of malice and wickedness, but with unleavened bread - the matzah of sincerity and truth." Please pray about whom to invite and come celebrate the Passover with us.
