Mom and Politics

Though the all-important elections are now over, my first news is about Jackie's mother:

Last Thursday, we gathered on a cold and snowy cemetery in rural New York to celebrate Mom's life. There were only a few of us there. She was the last survivor of her generation.

She will be sorely missed and I share with you some of my memories of her.

I do also talk of the elections ...

Over the next few weeks, Netanyahu will work to assemble additional political parties together into a coalition that must have a majority of 61 seats in the Israeli Parliament. If things unfold as expected, the new government will be more conservative, more religious and not what much of the world wants.

After sharing what message made Netanyahu victorious in the campaign, I urge you to continue to pray in the weeks ahead.
